FeedMakerPro - Automated RSS Feed for Your Whole Site
If your website is “siloed”, that is you have directories/folders that are sub-topics to the main topic then you need FeedMakerPro.
FeedMakerPro works the same way as FeedMaker, and it goes a step further.
In addition to creating a feed in the root directory, it finds each of your subdirectories/folders and creates a separate feed for each of them.
So, if your website is www.widget.com and you have a directory/folder about red widgets and another one about blue widgets FeedMakerPro will create a feed for red widgets and a feed for blue widgets.
This means that you have a feed for each of your topics/sub-topics and that means more links to your site and specifically links to the individual topics. So, you get more links and more potential visitors to your web site.
It does this by opening each folder and reading the index.htm or index.html file. The title of that file will be the title of the feed. The first paragraph will be the description of the feed.
After it sets up the feed information, FeedMakerPro reads each of the .htm and .html files in the folder and creates a feed item for each of them. The title of the page is the title of the item and the first paragraph of the page is the description of the item.
FeedMakerPro ignores all folders that start with _ (underscore) and the image folder. It also ignores files named template.
You can get your copy of FeedMakerPro for only $19.97 USD.
